The Ensora was not designed as a traditional wedding venue with a ceremony added to it. It was designed from the ceremony outward.
Every decision, from the size of the room to the guest capacity, ceremony layout, and officiant-led experience, was shaped around a simple question:
What helps people remain present to the commitment they are making?
The result is an intimate indoor ceremony space where attention naturally returns to the couple, the people witnessing them, and the meaning of the moment itself.
Why The Ensora Was Created
After years of officiating weddings, legal signings, and intimate ceremonies across British Columbia, we began to notice a pattern.
Many couples were not looking for a larger wedding. They were looking for a simpler way to get married.
Yet most wedding venues were designed around receptions, large guest counts, and event logistics. Even smaller weddings often required couples to navigate multiple vendors, timelines, and planning decisions before reaching the ceremony itself.
The Ensora was created in response to that gap.

The Meaning of Ensora
The name The Ensora combines two ideas.
Enso (円相), the circle of completeness and wholeness.
Sora (空), openness, possibility, and space.
Together, they reflect our belief that a ceremony can be simple, meaningful, and complete in itself.
