Who are the officiants behind The Ensora?
The Ensora was founded by Kit Chan and Kevin Leung of Vancity Officiant. Together, they have led over 2000 weddings across British Columbia.

What kinds of ceremonies do you host?
At The Ensora, we primarily host legal signing ceremonies in British Columbia.
These are simple, officiant-led wedding ceremonies focused on the legal marriage process, without a formal processional or reception elements.
For couples who would like to include a small group of guests, we also offer our Ensora Celebration, a micro wedding ceremony format for up to 15 guests.
While the structure remains rooted in a legal signing ceremony, it allows for a more complete and shared experience with family and close friends.
All ceremonies are designed to be minimal in structure, yet meaningful in presence.
Do you host receptions or parties?
No. The Ensora focuses purely on ceremonies.
Why was The Ensora created?
After years of officiating, we saw couples needed a space that understands ceremony, not just a location.

But more importantly, we see ourselves as pet-inclusive.
We do not simply allow pets to attend. We recognize them as part of your relationship and your ceremony. Whether it’s a quiet presence beside you or a meaningful role in the moment, we create space for that connection to be acknowledged.

Are your services available every day?
Yes. Appointments are available 7 days a week.
Weekdays: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Weekends: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
How far in advance can we book The Ensora?
You can book your ceremony up to 6 months in advance through our online booking system.
We recommend booking early if you have a specific date in mind, as availability is limited.
Can we book a last-minute ceremony?
Bookings must be made at least 2 days in advance.
This allows us to prepare the space and ensure a smooth, intentional experience for your ceremony.

How many guests can attend?
Micro weddings: up to 15 guests
Signing ceremonies: up to 4 guests (upgradeable to 8)
Do we need to bring decorations?
No. The space is fully styled with a modern minimalist design. No additional décor is needed or permitted.
Is The Ensora eco-conscious?
Yes. We focus on sustainable materials, natural light, and avoiding disposable décor.

Do you provide a photographer?
Photography is available as an add-on with curated partners aligned with our aesthetic.

What do we need to bring on the day of our ceremony?
Please bring:
Your BC Marriage Licence
Two witnesses
Your rings (optional)
Do we need to bring ID on the day of the ceremony?
No. You are not required to present your ID during the ceremony.
Your identity is verified when you apply for your marriage licence through a licensed issuer in British Columbia.
As officiants, we do not check or collect personal identification on the day of your ceremony.
